Pardon, I am not exactly a Bard. Here is a little tale about a terrible mage... and what me and my sisters were going to do about it.

No, we were not going off to be heroes of any kind and kill some big bag mage. That mage is supposed to already be dead. But, I am getting ahead of myself!

Once upon a time, long long ago, in a land not so far away... That's actually a pretty good start. Maybe I will try my hand at being a bard.

There lived a mage, a very powerful mage. This mage lived in a HUGE castle that was also magical. This powerful mage was terrible and created deadly magical artifacts. Apparently this mage even created a super powerful artifact that had the power of GODS! But... somehow that didn't save him from being vanquished. Yup, the mage is dead. I wonder if the Gods vanquished him, or he tried something magical that didn't have the effects he had hoped and died for his efforts. That would be a sad way to go. I guess that is better than being assassinated while taking a shit in the outhouse. No, I am not an assassin and did not kill some poor bastard taking a shit, just heard about it.

Anyhow, when the powerful mage... whose name is Aster by the way... When he was vanquished, his castle and everything in it just vanished. POOF! Gone!  Taking all the magical artifacts, including the godly powerful one, with it. It has been gone for generations!

Recently, he reappeared, supposedly. And dark evil beasts have been coming from it or something. I want to check it out. I want to know if it is THAT castle, Aster's Castle. And kill off some nasties before they threaten home. Oh... and importantly, find some interesting valuables. The guy is dead after all. He doesn't need them anymore. They would better serve other people. Or better be contained or destroyed so they do not cause great harm.

Shhhhh.... No one is supposed to know that the thief is a very good guy with a conscience...

Anyhow, this is where we are off to, my sisters and I. We are off to find this castle.... and get a very much needed break from home and family.
